Anything but normal.

Hi everyone!

We want to start off by thanking everyone for all of your financial and prayer support. Without all of you this trip would not be possible for Charles and me. We are really hoping to leave the first of May. Ben and Susan, a missionary couple that already lives there, have found a really great house for a really great deal so we are already seeing God's hand at work. Charles and I have sold our house and one of our cars. We are now living with a friend of the family in a garage apartment. All of this has allowed us to save some money and pay off some debt before we leave. We recently met with Mr. Dave and Mrs. Jean Ohlerking, the founders of children's cup to discuss our official leave date. They then informed us that we couldn’t buy our plane tickets until we have raised all of our money, or at least have monthly pledges from people that will start in April. We are still quite a bit short of what we need, so we are just asking everyone to pray about it and see what he or she might be able to do for us. Having already sold our house and car, we are very ready to go and begin the work God has called us to do. Children’s Cup operates off of support from people in the states also, and they cannot afford to help us financially, this is why we need to have our money before we can leave, because if we are over there and run out, they cannot afford to help us. We just want everyone to seek God about what you can do to help. We serve a faithful God and we know He will provide our every need. Thank you for everything.

In Him,
Charles and Kristen

Ya'll can put me down for $50/mo starting on March 1. I'll go to the Children's Cup site towards the end of February and set it up.

Hey Guys...keep the faith. We're busy plugging along over here in Swaziland. Our main focus this year has been to take stock of where we are at so far. What we have going is great but we believe that God wants us to continually do a better job. I believe part of doing a better job of running these Carepoints involves y'all and the energy you bring to the table. Can't wait to see you on this side. Much love!

Pat
