How Do I Say Good Bye

Its killin me. This is my last few days here in africa and it is the hardest thing for me to do to say goodbye. The smells the cries the laughter all of it is so contagious. People can tell you all about missions. You can see videos, pictures and hear stories all day long. It will affect you some. But to live it, breath it, touch it and experiance it it gets in your blood.

Im gonna miss going into homstaeds eatng food with the people and sharing life. Holding a baby that has no mother or father just left there to fend for himself. Im sorry if im not making since my brain is going 1000 directions. I love this place and to say good bye is so hard!

My wife will be here for anouther month and then come home to the states. So please keep her in your prayers. And thank everyone for all the prayers and support for the past year and a half.

Charles, you've impacted peoples' lives for eternity; you've lived for Jesus; you've loved and served the forgotten and hurting. You and Kristen have made a difference in so many lives. You've told them about Jesus; you've made them laugh. I think it will be hard for them to say goodbye to you also.
Much love to you.

Charles and Kristen,
I know that God has called you to Florida and I know that you have great work to do there. You will be an AWESOME youth pastor but, truth is, you were awesome with the people in Africa. It only goes to show that it's not for us to figure out God's plan, but just to realize that he sees the whole picture while we can just see what's in front of us. Good for you for being obedient to his call even though it's hard for you to make this change. Blessings in your new adventure! Our prayers are with you.

when you are gone from swaziland, there will be a big hole left--

we are grateful that God's plan for your life included Children's Cup. I know that you will be forever a pastor with a huge heart for missions.

Charles and Kristen,

It only took 2 weeks in Swaziland with you two to understand how amazing you both are, how great your heart for God is and for his people. The position in Florida will be great and you have been so faithful to God, crossing oceans to follow where he has said to go. I will be praying for you guys over the next month, for travel, for time apart, and everything else.

You two have been such an inspiration to my fiance and I. We are getting married on Saturday and we've read your blog for most of our time dating. It was always awesome to read what lives you touched. We love your hearts and hope to help fill the hole that is left when ya'll head for florida. Thank you for your service, your love and boldness for the Great Commission.

I miss you already! Spending time with you was so much fun! Thank you for opening the doors of Swaziland and missions in general to our team! I can't tell you enough how connected we all said we felt to you both the moment we met! Charles, I know just what you mean about tasting the mission field! My life will never be the same, Swaziland is embedded in my heart! God bless you both on your new adventure! I hope our paths cross soon in Florida! Love you both, Beth Young (Celebration Team)
