I Love Africa

I just want to say how much I love what I do. My Wife and I are going to be leaving for the states next week for 2 months and I was just sitting here thinking how much Im going to miss swaziland. When we decided to come to africa 1 year ago we didn't really know where we were going. We had never been to swaziland before and didn't know what to expect. From the moment we set foot on the ground we new this is where Jesus had us. From the kids at the carepoints to the high school students we count it a blessing to be here and we are going to miss all the faces that we work with.

Invasion Update

Well sorry for the late update. Invasion was a hit. There where kids playing basketball, soccer and playing in the inflatibles. There was dramas, dancing, singing and just 100 percent excitment. We had probably 800 to 900 kids that where there and there lives were touched and radically changed. There was an atiest kid that was there and for some time now we have been trying to reach out to him in the schools and after the message was over he was one of the ones who gave his life to Christ. How awesome for someone who doesn't believe in God to be radically changed. Another girl who was an ateist gave her life to Christ and went back to school preaching the word of God. I asked her what happened and she told me that she was just going to a bible study that gabby reimeier puts on at her school and she said something just came over her and she just started speaking words and things she has never even thought of before. She asked what was that and I told her that was the Holy Spirit. She said that was Awesome!!!!! There where 14 kids that gave there life to Christ and probably another 30 that stood up and said where sick and tired of being sick and tired. And I challenged them to stand up for Christ and take over the country of Swaziland. Lets be radical and barbarians for Christ. Then we ended with an song called war cry. It was absolutely amazing to see the lives touched and changed. And this is just the beginning we will do it again next year. Thanks to all who where praying yours prayers where heard. Im having trouble loading pictures so we will load soon.

Maketala

YAY!! It has been a great week. We have two women here from Household of Faith and my mom is also here. Mother-in-law in SiSwati is Maketala (ma gay da la). We have done so much since they arrived!! To get the fun out of the way, we went to a game park. It was great. We saw all the big animals. Since we got back, it has been nothing but intense ministry. Tuesday, we held a brunch for our cooks. Our cooks at all of our care points are strictly volunteer. It was an awesome opportunity to pour back into their lives. I believe they were truly blessed. We have aslo held two medical clinics, which all the women have really enjoyed. It is an awesome feeling to see a need and meet a need. Another exciting thing we have been able to do is hand out teddy bear and puppy dogs (stuffed of course). The reactions from the kids are priceless. The pictures don't really do it justice. Wednedsay we made a trip to Mozambique to see the church we are building there. I am so excited for that community and all God has for them. The women have completely blessed Charles and I in such a huge way. We are excited about their future trips here. Sorry if we've been slacking on any emails, as you can assume we have been so busy. Thanks for your continual prayers!! We miss everyone!! Our youth event is this Saturday and we need all the prayers we can get!!!!! I am having trouble loading the pictures, we have been having a lot of internet and phone issues lately so i will post them as soon as i can.
