If I Told My Testimony

There this guy named byrd that we've been reachin out to.. The first time I meet him he was drunk and could barley speak, the second time I saw him he didn't remember me but he needed food so i bought him MD's. Then I ran into him again and started talking to him more and more. He said he needed a job and I told him id see what I could do. Well we found him a job with a guy in the church. Well this past weekend he came to church and he didn't just come to church but he brought anouther homless homie with him!!!! He grabbed me by the hand and held it and started to tell me how thankful he was for finding him a job... He said If I could share my testimony I would, then he started weeping in away that I started crying... This man broken beat up by life.. Livin on the streets has a second chance..

He said I really see Jesus in you and the church thank you so much... Well he came to see me today at the office. He told tony that he wanted to come and talk. It was so could to see him and see him in work mode. He had a new pair of shoes and he was ready to roll... Thank you Jesus for never giving up on people!!!!!!

Water Giveaway

Saturday was our first water giveaway for our small group REACH. It was so awesome watching the students get excited over people taking the water. And even funnier to watch peoples expressions as you are trying to tell them that the water is free and no, you cannot take their money. Then there were the ones who rolled up the windows as soon as they saw us, but then once realized that we were just giving out free, cold bottled water, reconsidered and called us back :) Thank you Jesus for using us in creative ways :)

Bunny Trouble

So Charles and I have the awesome privilege of being youth pastors and getting o hang out with some amazing students all the time :) A few weekends ago, me and some of my girls, Kaycee and Brittany went to eat at this mexican restaurant, Mi Pueblos :) I was wearing a shirt that had bunnies on it. Cute, i know. Well when Kaycee's Quesidillas (no pun intended) came out, she couldnt help but notice the striking resemblance of this spot on her tortilla to the bunnies on my shirt. Maybe you had to be there, but we cracked up :)

Workin The Streets

Man what a week. From last weekend to this weekend we have been doing some serious lovin... We had the prevlidge of having allice cole and charity from healing place church come and visit and help us with outreach man what awesome women of God...... From giving chocolate, feeding, and passing roses out to peeps on the street it was awesome!!!!!! The high school ministry epic showed up and made us proud they served it up and stepped out of there comfort zone.... Heres a few pics from this past week....

Feeding the homeless in downtown Bradenton. It was awesome. It was the first epic outreach breakfeast. Epic is our high school ministry and we are trying to make it known that they are here to serve and reach the lost.....
